If you require service or repairs on your boat, please feel free to call us to discuss your needs. We will usually need your boat to be brought to us for an estimate and evaluate what needs to be done. If you do not own a trailer and can’t tow it to us, we can arrange to pick it up and haul it for you. In certain cases, we even send our road crew to work at your location.

Full Service Detailing
Our full service detailing includes a complete wash and chamois hand dry of all exterior surfaces, including vinyl, metal, non-skid, and windows, followed by an application of wax/cleaner wax using a high-speed power buffer on all fiberglass, plus cleaning above deck compartments, UV vinyl treatment, metal shine, window treatment, canvas cleaning, and helm cleaning. Scum line treatment is also included.

Express Detailing

- A certified welder tig welds every prop for maximum strength; no brazing rods are ever used

2. Premium Winterization Service (Includes Antifreeze):
- Includes: Stabilize fuel tank with Mercury Quickstor, engine run-up on our remote fuel tank mix for complete protection and lubrication of all internal fuel components, fog engine, drain water from cooling system, and courtesy inspection of boat and trailer
3. Outboard Engine Winterization:
- Includes: Stabilize fuel tank with Mercury Quickstor, engine run-up on our remote fuel tank mix for complete protection and lubrication of all internal fuel components, fog engine, and courtesy inspection of boat and trailer
4. Outboard Kicker Engine (Secondary Engine) Winterization:
- Includes: Engine run-up on our remote fuel tank mix for complete protection and lubrication of all internal fuel components and fog engine

Winterization & Storage

One of the reasons why our customers choose Mahopac Marine for their winterization and storage is our attention to detail. We follow manufacturers guidelines and go above and beyond the requirements to complete a winterization service properly.

We perform the required work to winterize the boat to prepare for its hibernation which prevents damage and eliminates future problems. This may include draining fluids and adding antifreeze as well as shrink-wrapping the top with mildew elimination bags and other preventative measures.

In addition to the mechanical prep, our service facility is equipped with large racks designed to securely hold dozens and dozens of boats in storage.
